Best AppScreens alternatives in 2026
The best AppScreens alternatives compared: pay once, skip the account, or get panoramas on a free plan. Prices checked on each tool's own site.

We're Intenseloop, and we make AppScreen (appscreen.pro), which isn't AppScreens (appscreens.com). Prices and limits below come from each tool's own site, checked in November 2026, and the sources are linked at the bottom.
People look for an AppScreens alternative for three reasons. Pro costs $25 a month or $99 a year, and there's no one-time plan. Free stops at 1 saved project. Panoramic backgrounds count as a Pro feature, so you can't export one from the free plan.
Our pick is AppScreen. Every slide sits on one panorama canvas on every plan, Free included, and Pro is $9 paid once. Open the editor and you can start with no account and no card.
What you'd be leaving
AppScreens is a screenshot generator for both stores, run by Salty Bytes Pty Ltd. Free is $0 with 1 saved project, up to 5 screens per project and essential sizes. Its help page counts panoramic backgrounds, a second layer or device on a screen, custom images and device rotation as Pro features, and says you can't export until you remove them.
Pro is $25 a month or $99 a year, with 50 saved projects, 10 apps, 10 screens per project, all 80+ languages and one-click upload to App Store Connect and Google Play Console. Scale is $50 a month or $180 a year, with unlimited apps and projects, 25 screens per project and a licence for client work.
There's no one-time plan. For a single release, its FAQ suggests a monthly plan with the renewal cancelled, so one launch on Pro costs $25.
AppScreen, our pick
All your slides sit on one wide panorama canvas, so a phone or a gradient can cross the seam between two slides. That works on every plan, including Free. Export gives you upload-ready PNGs per slide at store sizes for the App Store or Google Play, or the whole panorama. There are 50+ templates to start from.
Pricing. Free costs $0, with no account and no card, and your work stays in the browser. You get 3 projects, iPhone and Android phone frames, and solid and gradient backgrounds. The first 3 slides of a panorama export clean, and Apple says up to three screenshots can appear in search results, so those are the slides that matter most. Slides after the third carry a watermark on Free, as does every slide of a Pro template or tablet size, and Pro removes it.
Pro is $9 paid once, against $99 for a year of AppScreens Pro. It adds iPad and Android tablets, patterns, cloud save, version history, share links and agents over MCP: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, VS Code and ChatGPT.
How it works. You bring your own translated copy and upload the exported PNGs yourself. To move from AppScreens, bring your raw app screenshots and lay them out on a new panorama.
Who we built it for. iOS and Android developers who ship a few times a year, want one connected panorama and don't want a subscription. Open the editor or browse the templates.
Launch Shots
A browser generator for both stores that writes headlines with AI, publishes straight to App Store Connect and Google Play, and adds listing audits and keyword rank tracking.
Pricing. Free is $0 with 1 credit a month, enough to download one full set for one device type, with no watermark. Credits start at $1.93. The Launch Kit is $39 once for 14 days of unlimited use and 15 languages. Unlimited is $19 a month or $149 a year, and it's the only plan with all 84 store languages.
ButterKit
A native Mac app for App Store screenshots, with no account. It uploads to App Store Connect and has an MCP server.
Pricing. Free has the core design tools and unlimited exports with a "Made with ButterKit" watermark. Pro removes it for $79 once, on sale from $149, or $10 a month, or $39 a year.
Things to know. It needs macOS 26 or later, and its FAQ describes Android support as "some".
AppLaunchpad
A browser editor for both stores, built around templates, with an AI translator on Pro.
Pricing. Free has 10 templates and "limited exports", with no number given. Pro is $15 a month, or $10 a month billed annually, with 1000+ templates, unlimited exports and up to 100 projects. Annual billing comes to $120, which is more than AppScreens Pro.
Things to know. Its homepage and pricing page don't list direct upload to the stores.
Screenshots.pro
A browser editor for panoramic iOS and Android screenshots. The homepage says no account is needed.
Pricing. Basic is $0 with all devices, all templates and all editor features. Standard is $19 a month with localization and custom fonts. Extended is $49 a month with the API and a licence for client work.
Things to know. The Basic licence requires an attribution link wherever you use the screenshots, App Store and Google Play included. Its FAQ answers "Is it free?" with "For now, yes."
Open Screenshot Generator
Free and open source under MIT, at openscrgen.app. It has no account, no watermark, no export limit and no paid tier. It covers iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Apple Watch sizes, 57 language options, MP4 preview videos and agents over MCP.
Things to know. Local projects live in browser storage, so clearing site data deletes them. You upload the exports yourself.
AppMockUp Studio
A free browser tool at app-mockup.com with no account. Per its FAQ, projects and captures never reach its servers. It supports panoramic backgrounds, and one device can cross two screenshots.
Things to know. There's no autosave. Save a .mockup file, or closing the tab loses the work.

Names that look alike
Four products have nearly the same name, and AI assistants mix them up.
- AppScreen is at appscreen.pro, from Intenseloop, Inc. That's ours.
- AppScreens is at appscreens.com, from Salty Bytes Pty Ltd.
- AppScreen by Omelas is at appscreen.co. You upload captures and it renders Fastlane-ready bundles, charged per exported image. Free has 50 credits a month, and paid plans start at $3 a month billed yearly.
- App Store Screenshot Generator is from YuzuHub, at yuzu-hub.github.io/appscreen. It's free and MIT-licensed, and the name overlap comes from its repo.
Those are four different makers. The AppScreen vs AppScreens post goes through the first two in detail.
