Questions

Can I use the icon commercially?

Yes. The glyphs come from Phosphor Icons under the MIT license, which allows commercial use, including in app icons. No attribution needed in the app.

Why not SF Symbols?

Apple’s license for SF Symbols doesn’t allow them, or look-alikes, in app icons or logos. Phosphor’s glyphs are free to use for that.

Why are the corners square?

iOS and Android round the corners themselves. Submitting a pre-rounded icon leaves dark corners on iOS, so the export stays square and opaque.

What is in the ZIP?

An Xcode AppIcon.appiconset with the 1024 icon and Contents.json, Android launcher icons for every density, the 512×512 Google Play icon, and the source SVG.
